 HOW TO APPLY FOR COMMON PG ENTRANCE TEST CPET-2020 FULL GUIDE WITH STEP BY STEP

Online application for the applicants desirous of admission into post graduate courses had been out by the Odisha State Higher Education council.

If you have a smartphone or PC or Laptop, you did not need to go any where ( Cyber cafe) or did not need to request anyone to apply for this. You need to be self-reliant . Be self- dependent . 

You will get complete guide in this post . So read the post completely.

Before appling for the CPET-2020, make sure that you have the following things ready:

•  One smartphone or PC or Laptop with active internet connection.
•  Your 10th , +2 and +3 Roll Number.
•  One pass photo to be uploaded on site.
•  Any ID Proof number like Aadhar card or voter card or DL or any thing else.
•  And ATM card or Net banking for the payment option.

Beside these you did not need any extra thing.

Step-1:

If you are applying in your PC/Laptop, open any browser like (Chrome or Opera etc.) .
If you are applying in your mobile, then open your Google chrome then on the desktop mode.

    

Then follow the following steps:

Step-2:

Search for samsodisha and go through the first website which is

 http://www.samsodisha.gov.in/

And click on the Post graduation option. As shown in the above picture.

Step-3: 

Then click on New Student Registration option.
 If you had already register before, you can click on existing student login. 

In my case I am clicking on New Student Registration.

Step-4: 

Enter your name, mobile number and email id here. Then click on Generate OTP option.

Now enter the OTP, you received in your mobile number and email id. And set a password for your account. Then click on Submit.

Now, you will see a pup up window saying , you have successfully registered. Click on OK.

Step-5: 

Now you will redirect to the log in page. Enter the same mobile number and password, you have just created before. 

Step-6: 

Now you have successfully registered. Click on Application form.

You will see the following Basic information :

Fill your basic details like personal details, identification details and address for correspondence. Then click on Next. 

For example I have given my details in the following image:

Step-7: 

You are one step forwarded. You will be now on the Additional details. Enter your Reservation detail here. Then if you have any weightage detail like NCC or any sports and game , give that. Then click on Next option.

Step-8: 

Now you will be on Educational qualification page. 

If you are on +3 final year then select the appeared option. Then enter the required details like your +2 mark. You can choose mark or CGPA any one option.

Enter your honours subject and elective subject and their credit.

 ( In my case, as I have 14 core subjects each of 6 credit, total is 84. And 2 General Electives (Physics) each of 6 credits so, total of 12 credit.) You can choose either 12 or 24 in generic credit. No problem.

Now enter the subjects and your preference universities you are interested in. You can enter maximum of 10 options.

 Before choosing your preferences, I would like to recommend you to read this pdf from page no.  22 to 41.

Finally enter your examination centres.

Step-9: 

In next step, upload your pass photo which must be in .jpg/.jpeg/.png/.bmp file format and a maximum size of 100 kb. Then click on next.

( If your image size is more than the required size, you can compress your image to below 100 kb using many applications like clear scanner or many websites like    https://compressimage.toolur.com/ . Or you can simply search for  'compress image' in google and can try any website.)

Step-10: 

Done, you have completed your application form . 💓
Last step is for the payment option.
Accept the terms and conditions and click on pay option.

You will see the UCO smartpay getway. Click on Proceed option.

You will see your Application ID and the amount you have to pay. If you have UCO bank netbanking, click on 1st option. If you have UCO bank ATM card, select 2nd option. 

For other payment option click on the 3rd option. And then press continue.

By default, Credit card will be selected. Change to Debit card if you want. Paying through Net banking, you may have to pay extra charges.

Now enter your OTP and done.

Congratulation, you have successfully applied for CPET-2020.

Step-11:

Now download your CAF.
